The superb 2019 vintage allowed us create for the first time in over a decade, a wine that contains all of the classique Bordeaux blend components: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc. This west Texas grown and produced wine offers ripe black plum, light minty, baking spice and toasty oak aromas with flavors that include black cherry, a touch of purple flowers, and peppercorn spice, all with a firm and weighted palate. This structured wine pairs well with roasted meat and wild game, as well as rustic pasta dishes with tomato sauce and multitude of firm cheeses. Properly aerate into large bowled wine glasses to reveal this wine’s true potential.
