Our 2015 Petit Verdot was made from grapes grown at the Reddy Vineyards in the heart of Terry County in west Texas. This later ripening variety was harvested in late September and produced using the traditional Bordelaise winemaking methods for full extraction of color and tannin. Initial aromas and flavors of black cherry, cola, vanilla, and blackberry have evolved over time in the bottle into complex dried fruit and crushed herb aromatics, with refreshing acidity and melted tannins.
